The New Quests of The Turetzky Family

I was so busy enjoying the end of summer with my new-found freedom from college, that I simply didn't have the time for a blog post last month. I wrote a few blog posts in my head, but I'm still waiting for someone to invent some device that can make a transcription of my thoughts :) Here's the run down from the last 2 months: - Walt turned 18 months at the end of August and started using a potty seat! He's been pretty consistent with using his new seat 1-2 times a day when I ask him to. I'm not pushing to potty train at this point, but I figure there's no harm in encouraging what he wants to try :) - 2 days ago Walt turned 19 months and he continues to be the sweetest little boy.  He gives lots of hugs, kisses, snuggles, AND he sleeps through the night. - Darren is the best parenting partner--I have him to thank for Walter sleeping through the night :)  - I'm getting more sleep. Today my sweet little boy is 17 months old. He truly is such a sweet boy. Lately he gives lots of kisses on the lips, bear hugs around your neck, and randomly climbs on our backs for rides around the house. He likes to try and do everything Lila does. It's been really cute to see him stand on the stool in the bathroom and try to do the teeth brushing routine just like sister (he taps his toothbrush on the side of the sink, tries to spit, etc.). He also likes to be sat on the toilet seat and he grabs some toilet paper and wipes himself (he doesn't do his business in their yet ;), just like his sis. He loves Lila and likes to play anything with her--princesses, Duplos, dancing, making music, cars, etc. He says all of our names and "no" and "yeah" quite clearly, so he's getting to be a good communicator. just not on here! I'm currently working on a 15 page analytical report, and I'm planning on having all of my writing assignments submitted by July 12th. Life is revolving around me finishing this last class and finally seeing the end of my college career. I. can't. wait. to. be. done. Needless to say, I don't have time to get my blog up to speed on the last 6 weeks of our lives. I look forward to writing for my pleasure, here, on my blog, as soon as my last college paper has been turned in! In the meantime, here's a few pics from the last 6 weeks.
