Fall Fun

Fall in Austin is basically summer round 2.  A day like yesterday, with a high of 77 degrees feels kind of like fall.  October was mostly in the 80's with some 90's.  I'm happy to say that we're making the move back to California, and at least the fall evenings will be cooler in Cali. Even with the warm temps, we had some Halloween fun.  Lila asked to go as a witch (which I loved, because at the same age I dressed as a witch!), and Walter wanted to dress as a pterodactyl.  Lila got the Party City witch costume (because it was too easy to buy rather than make), but Walter got a one-of-a-kind costume hand crafted by himself and I.  He was the star of the show wherever he went, and he really hammed it up in his costume.  I love this boy.
