I am thankful for...
...the sights and sounds of spring. Beautiful bluebonnets, birds chirping, and gorgeous weather for walks on the greenbelts.
...the best visiting teachers ever. They probably aren’t as excited to see me as I am to see them, but it sure is nice to have a scheduled chat with these sisters every month (I always need it!).
...roses and chocolate from one of the aforementioned visiting teachers. Just what a girl needs :o)

...three Mondays in a row with Darren at home! His new job didn’t start until Tuesday, so it was nice to have an extra long weekend with him home.
...nap time with my two little loves. It’s been so nice that we’ve all been napping at the same time.
...my first venture out with the children by myself. We went to the library and the bank and it was a successful trip (only a few tears in the car on the way there). And when Lila misplaced the DVD’s she chose to check out, miraculously there was a second copy of both the movies she had picked (that never happens!).
...meal making that went well this past week since I planned and shopped in advance (except for the one night where my chicken was past its sell by date, but Five Guys burgers rescued the night :o). I even resumed breadmaking!

Here's the only pics I took this week. Taken with the Instagram app, so not amazing, but at least it's something!
She put herself down for her nap, on the couch.
3 weeks old. He now has a terrible case of baby acne, so there probably won't be many pics of this little guy until its gone.
Lila said we were pretending it was Halloween. I'm not pictured, but I was dressed by her as a rabbit.
